Victim Of Fatal Olean Shooting Identified By Police

Police have identified the victim of the fatal shooting in Olean, NY, early Tuesday.

27-year-old James Williams was identified as the man who was killed.

At 12:45 am on Tuesday, Olean Police responded to the scene of a shooting in Olean in the area of South 2nd Street where a man was fatally shot.

Williams was reported to have been shot in the face. Another male was injured when he jumped through a second story window to avoid being shot. He is being treated at a Buffalo hospital for injuries received from the fall.
