Kane PA Tapped for Help at Possible Structure Fire in Elk County

At 7:32 pm, Kane FD and ambulance were called to assist Elk Company 8.

A possible structure fire was reported at the Russel City Store.

Kane FD was requested to send 2 engines, 1 tower, and 1 rescue crew to the scene.

Chief 8, of Elk Co 8, arrived on scene and requested that Route 66 be closed.

At 7:41, an additional fire engine from Mount Jewett was requested to standby at the Elk Co 8 station.

At 7:59 pm, Chief 8 requested that the State Police Fire Marshall be notified.
