Patricia J. Lockett, 80, of 332 Barbour Street, passed away Monday, November 9th, 2009 at Bradford Ecumenical Home.
Born June 17, 1929, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late George H. and E. Onolee (Benjamin) Ransom.
On June 21, 1952 in Bradford she married Farragon Thomas Lockett who died March 6, 1970.
Mrs. Lockett was a 1947 graduate of Bradford High School. She had formerly worked at Zippo Mfg. from 1947 to 1952 and then later at Bradford Hospital for fifteen years retiring in 1990. She loved her cats: Cali, Lacey and Fuzzy, and enjoyed crocheting, reading, and gardening.
She is survived by two daughters: Debra K. (Jeff) Oxley of Bradford and Barbara J. Lockett with whom she resided, and two grandsons: Keith Thomas Mahon and Nicholas Corwin Oxley; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Robert and Richard Ransom.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Dale Painter, pastor of the Cobb Street Baptist Church, officiating.
Mausoleum entombment will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
