**Editors note** This is a user submitted article that I have also included with the news because portions of this are what I believe to be newsworthy.
Tonight is a City Council meeting. The meeting will be at 7 pm, and in this meeting, City Council will vote to cut 4 city paid positions.
Among these positions are 2 police officers. 2 more officers on top of 1 that is retired, and one that is laid off. That will make four total officers that the city of Bradford is lacking.
Keep note that the fire department is guaranteed to keep ALL employee’s for the next year, but our police department is 4 officers short. Ask yourself this question; are fires increasing and crime decreasing? I think with the state of the economy, that the reverse may be true.
Go to the city council meeting and voice your opinion. Don’t let this be another “administrative decision that is not up for debate”.

Thank you for publishing this for me. I made this comment on a different post, but it pertains here as well. Could this be a little bit of retaliation for going against the mayor in the change of dispatch situation?
