At 8:19 pm, a possible brush fire was called in.
The fire was reported to be somewhere in the area of Long Lane, on Bolivar Drive.
It was unknown exactly what was on fire, but the caller stated that it was possibly a brush fire.
Derrick City FD, and Foster Township PD were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival Foster Township PD advised that the fire was on top of the hill, way off of the roadway, and that it was possibly a controlled burn.
Chief 11 ordered all units to hold in quarters until the type of fire could be confirmed.
All units were recalled after finding that the fire was a controlled burn.
