Route 6 Closed for an Extended Period of Time

Roulette and Coudersport Fire Rescue and Ambulances have responded to a two vehicle accident on Route 6 at Mina Road, shortly after 8:00 am on Thursday.
One of the vehicles is reported to be a tractor-trailer. Possible ejection is reported.
Rt. 6 is reported closed.
A 150 gallon fuel oil spill has been reported.
Helicopters are not able to fly due to weather.
AT 8:50 am all Coudersport Dept. 48 personnel have been requested to report to the station.
**BradfordPA.Info has received information that there was a fatality in this accident.
State Police say that a vehicle operated by 46 year old Joseph Engl of Sartwell Creek was driving his car on Route 6 when he began to fish-tail.
Engl’s car then entered the opposite lane and struck a tractor trailer driven by Dale Hagerich of Johnstown PA.
The vehicles hit head on, and Engl was ejected.
Engl was transported to CCMH and then taken to RPH in Sayre where he later died.
