House Fire in Bradford PA, 2 Injured Firefighters

At 2:14 pm, a house fire was reported in Bradford PA.

The fire was reported to be at 121 Euchlid Avenue.

The caller reported that there was a vehicle in the driveway, and no one was outside, so he couldn’t be sure if the occupants were out of the house.

Bradford City FD was dispatched to the scene.

Personnel arriving on scene reported flames showing at 2:16 pm.

A second alarm was requested at 2:17.

The second alarm brought out Derrick City FD, and requested a full personnel response from Bradford City FD.

2 Firefighters Injured

2 firefighters were injured during the fire.

1 firefighter was being treated for a possible airway burn, from inhaling superheated smoke and gasses while in the attic of the house.

The second firefighter fell from a ladder while wearing an air tank.

**UPDATE**

Firefighter Todd McClain is being treated in Buffalo for injuries sustained from inhaling the superheated smoke and gasses.

The firefighter that fell from the ladder is Greg Lewis, and he was treated and released at BRMC.

    Possible 3rd alarm at about 3 40?

  2. Not that I heard. There was some odd traffic around that time (requesting that command call the central station, etc) but I didn’t hear any other alarms.

    Ah I didn’t here anything on the scanner but I thought i heard sirens going down west washington towards town and i was thinking it could’ve been BTVFD Station 15 assisting.
