At 12:13 pm, a fire was reported in Bradford PA.
The fire was reported to be at 219 Rutherford Run.
The caller reported that the fire was in a detached garage, approximately 15 feet from the house.
Smoke was showing at the time of the call, and the caller stated that it might be fully involved.
Bradford Township FD was dispatched to the scene.
Crews responding said that they could see heavy smoke before they arrived on scene.
Bradford Township PD arrived on scene first, and reported the garage to be fully involved, and reported that the home owner stated that there were small bottles of propane, and 22 shells inside.
Bradford Township PD also reported that the fire from the garage was melting the siding on the house.
Lewis Run FD was requested to send a tanker to the scene at 12:18.
Second Alarm
At 12:22 pm, a second alarm was requested. The second alarm brought out Bradford City FD, and Lewis Run FD. Corydon Township FD was dispatched to go to the Bradford Township station for standby.
Units began clearing the scene at 1:40.

Bradford Township firefighters responded to a blaze in a garage at 219 Rutherford Run this afternoon. Although the garage was 15 feet from the house, the fire did extend to the house, where it damaged one room, the attic and part of the exterior, according to Fire Chief Dan Burkhouse He said the garage and its contents were a total loss. Firefighters were called out at 12:13 p.m. and returned to the station at 4 p.m. 26 men and three engines from Bradford Township responded, along with a tanker and three men from Lewis Run. Bradford City and Corydon Township firefighters were on standby.
