H. Donald Sestina, 76, of 748 Sizerville Rd., Emporium died at Presbyterian-Univ. Hosp. UPMC, Pittsburgh on Tuesday (March 9, 2010) night following a lengthy illness.
He was born Jul 5, 1933 in Emporium a son of the late Andrew and Charlotte Keeler Sestina.
On June 29, 1957 in St. Mark Cathlolic Church he married Mary Jo Glasl Sestina, who Survives.
Mr. Sestina graduated from Cameron County High School and received a Bachelor Degree in finance from Lycoming College. He was owner and agent at the former Sestina Insurance Agency for many years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Emporium where he served as an Elder of the Church. He was a member of the Knights Templar, an international philanthropic order affiliated with Freemasonry. He served as a senior accountant at Sylvania, was a member of the Board of Directors of the Andrew Kaul Memorial Hospital, North Central Regional Planning and Development Commission, Dickenson Mental Health, Citizens Trust Co. and Banc Corp. He had also served as a Cameron Co. Commissioner.

Funeral Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 205 East Fourth Street, Emporium on Saturday (March 13, 2010) at 11:00 AM with Rev. Philip W. Sanders, Pastor, officiating.
Visitation with Tribute Video will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium, PA
