Louise M. Lynch, 91, of 612 North Fraley Street, died Thursday (March 11, 2010) at Kane Community Hospital.
Born March 5, 1919, in Crossingville, PA, she was a daughter of John F. and Carrie Carr Coughlin. On June 7, 1941, in Erie, she married Robert L. Lynch who survives.
Mrs. Lynch was a licensed practical nurse and had worked at Erie Osteopathic Hospital, Burkes Nursing Home in Girard and Pleasant Ridge Manor. She also was a member of the State Nurse’s Association.
She was a devoted homemaker and wife who enjoyed crocheting and loved to fish. She and her husband had lived in Florida for thirty years and returned here five years ago.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Robert T. (Judy) Lynch of Sheffield; a daughter, Nancy E. (Robert) Bloch of Charlotte, VT; two granddaughters, Jamie Holloway and Jackie Barbieri; three great grandchildren, Austin, Nathan and Calyssa; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Ruth Mason and Jane Niebauer; three brothers, Francis Coughlin, Robert Coughlin and James Coughlin; and a granddaughter, Lori Schooley .
Friends may attend a memorial service at 1:00 P.M. Sunday at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. with The Rev. W. Craig Smith and The Rev. David Pflieger co-officiating.
