A Duke Center man, Michael J. Douglas, 29, was arrested Sunday, March 28th on charges of public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
Around 9:00 pm, Douglass was arrested on Moody Hollow Rd, just north of Moody Loop Road, in Eldred Township, after police found him to be drunk in public.
Douglas then became belligerent and began to repeatedly yell “take me to jail, mother****er”, and was then charged with disorderly conduct.
Trooper David L. Smith filed the charges at District Magistrate William Todd’s office in Smethport, and Douglas was arraigned at 10:55 pm.
Douglas was released on $2,500 unsecured bail, and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on April 19th.
Update
This stemmed from an incident at a bar in Farmers Valley, and a short pursuit to the location mentioned above. The driver of the vehicle, Daniel Douglass, 33, of Kane, was charged with DUI. See that report at Solomon’s Words.
