Pauline Veritz, 86, formerly of 6834 Highland Road, died Friday (April 16, 2010) at the Lutheran Home at Kane where she resided.
Born May 4, 1923, in Kane, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Barbara Simun Trulik. On October 12, 1946, she married Peter Veritz who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Veritz, a member of St. Callistus Catholic Church, was a homemaker.
Surviving are two daughters, Nancy (Bruce) Cowan of Kane and Paula Johnson of Oyster Bay, NY; a son, Anthony (Karen) Veritz of Clinton Twp., MI; two grandchildren; a brother, Frank Trulik of Kane; a sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Rossman of Erie; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her husband and parents, by several brothers and sisters.
Friends will be received at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday from 7-9:00 P.M. and again on Monday from 9:30-10:30 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 A.M. Monday at St. Callistus Church with The Rev. Philip Pinczewski, pastor, as Celebrant. Burial will be at St. Callistus Cemetery.
