H. Donald Sestina, 76, of 748 Sizerville Rd., Emporium died at Presbyterian-Univ. Hosp. UPMC, Pittsburgh on Tuesday (March 9, 2010) night following a lengthy illness.
He was born Jul 5, 1933 in Emporium a son of the late Andrew and Charlotte Keeler Sestina.
On June 29, 1957 in St. Mark Cathlolic Church he married Mary Jo Glasl Sestina, who Survives.
Mr. Sestina graduated from Cameron County High School and received a Bachelor Degree in finance from Lycoming College. He was owner and agent at the former Sestina Insurance Agency for many years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Emporium where he served as an Elder of the Church. He was a member of the Knights Templar, an international philanthropic order affiliated with Freemasonry. He served as a senior accountant at Sylvania, was a member of the Board of Directors of the Andrew Kaul Memorial Hospital, North Central Regional Planning and Development Commission, Dickenson Mental Health, Citizens Trust Co. and Banc Corp. Joyce Elaine Moore of 824 S. Union Street Branch Extension, Olean, died Wednesday (March 10, 2010) at her home.
Born February 26, 1940 in West Hickory, PA, she was the daughter of Elliot E. and Edith R. Fanning Hurd. On October 25, 1958 at the Christ United Methodist Church in Olean she married Maynard Nelson Moore, who predeceased her on October 9, 2002.

Katherine Fern Chouinard of 350 Front St. Aspen Tower died Tuesday (March 9, 2010) in the Olean General Hospital.
Born August 25, 1923 in Westfield, PA she was the daughter of Lawrence and Ada Dunham Outman. In 1939 she married William Chamberlain who predeceased her. She later married Lionel Chouinard in Massachusetts. He predeceased her in 1991.

Betsy L. McCracken, 57, of Gifford, passed away Wednesday March 10th, 2010 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY.
Born May 12, 1952, in Bradford she was a daughter of the late Betty (Covell) and Leon Pire who survives her of Bradford. She attended Bradford Area Schools.
On July 2, 2002 in DuBois she married Kevin E. McCracken who survives.
She was employed at Subway for several years.
She is survived by her husband, father, and three daughters: Marsha (Ron McCool) Brisson of Bradford, Rolanda “Landy” (Vern) Hart of Bradford, Heather McCracken of Niagra Falls, NY, three sons: Ronald (Jennifer) Good of Waterford, Donald (Julie) Good of Union City, Todd Snyder of Gifford, four brothers: Lonnie (Cathy) Pire of Union City, Kevin (Sharon) Pire of Bradford, Robert (Cheryl) Pire of Bradford, Michael (Theresa) Pire of Smethport, nine grandchildren, three great grandsons, and several nieces and nephews. Joshua C. WHEELER, 30, of Harrison Valley, PA, died Sunday, March 7, 2010. He was born May 25, 1979, in Coudersport, PA.
Josh was a self-employed logger and worked for Union Drilling Co., Phoenix Drilling Co., and Key Drilling Co. He recently earned certification as a welding inspector.
As a youth he participated in archery tournaments and Harrison Valley Youth Baseball as a member of the A’s and the Allegheny Mountain all-star team.
Surviving are: a daughter, Lyndsey Wheeler; his mother, Maria Kibbe; his father, Thomas Wheeler; maternal grandparents, Cleon and Betty Kibbe; paternal grandfather, Horace “Lud” (Jane Hilfiger) Wheeler; a brother, Matthew Kibbe; nephews, Dalton Kibbe and Preston Kibbe; uncles, David (Deborah) Kibbe, Joel (Martie) Wheeler, and Daniel Wheeler; aunt, Vicki (Garry) Abbott; great-uncles and great-aunts; special friend, Randi Murphy; and numerous cousins.
He was predeceased by paternal grandmother, Juanita Wheeler; and an aunt, Sharon Wheeler.
Friends may call Friday, March 12th from 2:00 — 4:00 and 7:00 — 9:00 PM at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday in the Ulysses United Methodist Church. The Rev. Duane Burdick will officiate.

Born March 29, 1920 in West Hickory, she was a daughter of the late Wayne A. and Sadie (Swatzler) Hunter Sr. She attended Bradford Schools.
On March 23, 1946 in the East End Presbyterian Church, she married George G. Krakat who survives.

On June 11, 1955 in Bradford she married Charles C. Moonan Sr. who died on June 10, 1995.
She was formerly employed at O’Mara’s Dairy Bar, the Main St. Diner, the Donut Shop, Dresser Manufacturing, J.C. Pennys, Clarks Discount Store, and Tops Friendly Markets. On February 17, 1959 in Limestone, NY, she married Martin E. Peterson who survives.
Mrs. Peterson attended Bradford High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and with her grandchildren and great grand children, who were the light of her life. Born November 15, 1929, in Soddy, TN, she was the daughter of the late Marion and Nannie (Collins) Jones.
On August 9, 1956, in Ringold, GA, she married Herbert H. Leininger who proceded her in death.
Mrs. Leininger attended schools in Chattanooga, Tenn. She had worked in house keeping for the City of Elyria, Ohio, in the Administration building for seventeen years. He was born Aug 4, 1943 in Bradford, a son of Howard M. and Evelyn L. Douthit McCollough. On Sept. 29, 1962, in Port Allegany, PA, he married Audrey J. Ostrander, who survives.

Rosemary Cooley of 1445 Olean Portville Road passed away Friday, March 5, 2010 in the Olean General Hospital, following a short illness.
Mrs. Cooley was born on January 11, 1943 in Olean, NY and was the daughter of Harvard C. and Doris Shaw Hitchcock. On December 22, 1961 in Knapp Creek she married her husband of 46 years, Grant G. Cooley, who predeceased her on November 4, 2008.
Mrs. Cooley graduated from Allegany High School with the class of 1961. She enjoyed her grandchildren and family. Douglas A. Lewis of 125 South Barry St.,Olean, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at home from an apparent heart attack.
Mr. Lewis was born in Olean on July 19, 1960 in Olean and was the son of Daryl and Donna Mae Stoll Lewis.
Mr. Lewis attended Olean High School. He was a cook for a number of restaurants in the area including Perkins Restaurant for 13 years from 1988-2001. Mr. Lewis worked odd jobs for a number of years after that until he retired due to illness. He enjoyed all sports, music, especially Jazz. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. On June 6, 1947 in the 1st Lutheran Church in Sharpsburg she married Robert H. Pracht who survives.
